Fwy in da air!

This kid cracks me up! Heath was looking at this book the other day and spotted the pick monther with the purple hair in the bee costume. Not all that easy to make out in this picture, but he spotted it all right. He pointed to it and said, "Wear that!" I looked....and looked....and figured out he meant the bee costume I made for Halle when she was 18 months old for a Halloween costume. I proceeded to get it for him as he was jumping up and down with excitement. He was pleased as can be as I put it on him and said, "fwy in da air!" a few times. I was hoping he didn't intend to jump off of something high to accomplish that! He wore it for the afternoon. Well, of course I had to have some pictures of that!

He has been talking a blue streak lately (whatever that means, I am sure I could google it and find out). He talks in full sentences a lot. I love how he pauses between words. "Don't....tickle....me!" Which he follows with, "Gin!" when I stop. He says, "Kowl (Kyle)...bug...me." when Kyle is bugging him. One of my favorites is when he is looking for me and he says, "Mama, you downstairs?.....you upstairs?" And I will answer him,but he will keep that up for awhile. Cracks me up. He also is becoming more independent and says, "By sels" a lot which translates as by myself. He is pretty much the most easy-going toddler I have ever seen. I feel blessed, to say the least. He does have his moments, but we definitely enjoy this adorable little guy.
