This summer we were gone several weekends in a row. It seemed like just as soon as I would unpack and organize from one trip, I would start packing for the next. We did have some fun adventures and now it seems like a long time ago, but I never posted any of the pictures and now I am reminicing about summer and all of our fun adventures! First we went to visit my dad and step mom where they rented a house for several months in Yachats. There was a beautiful beach and the kids had a lot of fun collecting shells and agates.

I love this silhouette of Heath and my dad
Then our friends came to visit from Arizona and we went to stay in Cannon Beach. We went down to Haystack Rock at lowtide early in the morning and froze, but had fun and saw tons of
starfish.

The third weekend we went to stay on a houseboat on Lake Billy Chinook (Vinishilook, as Halle used to call it). It was a little breezy that weekend, but we had some more fun. Halle and Kyle had fun playing with their cousins, Tyler, Brandon, and Ethan, who had just started walking
recently.

Heath was so funny on the boat, and in typical Heath fashion, did not complain about the life jacket and held the flag. Eventually he fell asleep even though it was very choppy. We thought he might get whiplash!

On our way home, we tried to stay in a decent hotel. The only room available had one queen bed and no swimming pool which the kids were looking forward to. They ended up sleeping on the floor (sad), but we stopped at Ka-nee-tah on our way home and had some fun in their pool.
