So the summer is actually over and the kids are off to school. Halle is in 3rd grade and her teacher looped with the class, which she was very excited about. It made the anxiety and stress of starting school this year almost NIL, which is a change from years past. Kyle started Kindergarten this year, and BOY was he ready. Hardly looked back. He is the oldest kid in his class, having a September birthday. He started the day after Halle since they split up the kindergarten classes and have half the alphabet go for the first two days, then bring them all together on the third day.

Getting on the bus on the first day of Kindergarten (second day for the other kids). We told Kyle we would drive him there, but he was so pumped about riding the bus, we drove and met him there as he got off the bus.

Coming home on the school bus. Kyle seemed to like his first week. Only one altercation with another kid about whose turn it was for the swing. (4 swings for 75 kindergartners will do that!!)
