Does he like it?

We started feeding Heath "solid" food a couple of weeks ago. We started with rice cereal which he seemed to like and say "mmmm..." after each bite.

Halle and Kyle were very encouraging and loved to watch his expressions

Then we tried carrots, which also went pretty well...

although he still seemed to prefer his thumb. Then we tried sweet potatoes and even pears and got these reactions!

He was so dramatic about NOT liking his food. The last few days he hasn't even liked rice cereal. Halle and Kyle were dying laughing which of course makes Heath laugh too. What started out as a successful food experience for Heath has turned to indifference and even disgust! Hopefully he will come around eventually.

He is growing up fast, TOO fast. He is 6 months now and it has flown by. I think about the next 6 months and how fast it will go...next he will be walking and the baby stage will be nearly over! Sometimes I wish I could just freeze him like this a little longer.
