So, this is what we have been up to so far this summer…
A ride on the Portland aerial tram
4th of July festivities
A funeral and celebration of Grandma Margaret Thompson’s life
Fun in the sun with cousins
This will have too many pictures….just a warning!
My friends Jana and Andrea used to sit with me on this very bench in the skybridge up at OHSU and dream about out lives after dental school when we would have real lives, real kids, make real money, have real houses, meet for vacations in exotic places….and here are my 3 kids sitting on that very bench 12 years later. Wow, time flies! This is the first itme I have been back since graduating from dental school. Good times!
Here is the dental school from the skybridge. That deck down there is the place that I met Jana over the first lunch of dental school and found out we were both vegetarians. We’ve been best friends ever since! That is also where she told me she was *surprisingly* pregnant. What a blessing Cassi is!

4th of JULY
Oak Hills parade
At the fireworks show…
I made all the girl cousins 4th of July hair clips

Even though this is out of focus, I love the texture of the girls’ hair. I braided their hair the day before so they were all wavy.

My attempt at firework pictures with Heath on my lap some of the time. I was too lazy to bring my tripod.
Grandma Thompson’s Memorial…
Grandma Thompson and Andy
Grandma and Grandpa Thompson with baby Heath
All but one of Grandma Thompson’s grandkids and many of her great-grandkids
Maddi, Lauren, and Halle

And fun with the cousins…
Ashley, Justin and their kids Zach, and Kate just moved here and we can’t wait to have more fun with them!
Typical of Heath and Kyle together. Kyle was trying to cooperate for a picture, but Heath felt like he was being choked and was screaming. They have a love/hate relationshop for sure!
Heath loves scooters

I liked this one of Lauren in color and B&W.
And last but not least, we caught a bunch of tadpoles from a pool by Grandma and Grandpa’s house and put them in our pond to turn into frogs. Here is a frog that Halle caught along with the tadpoles. She named him Rolo. Isn’t he sweet??
